First Canadian Chapter’s 2016 Poker Run
The FCC 99s are excited to host our annual POKER RUN, Saturday June 04
The TERMINUS this year will be Oshawa Airport.
The participating airports will be Oshawa, Lindsay, Peterborough, Buttonville, Simcoe Regional, Collingwood, Brampton, Burlington.
How do you play an aviation poker run?
At the first airport, you pick up as many poker hand score sheets as you want to play… remember the more you play, the more chances to win and the more funds we raise for scholarships. At the 99’s table you draw from the card deck a playing card for each of the poker score sheets, the 99 volunteer will stamp your sheet/s. Then you fly to the next airport participating in the Poker Run and pull your next cards for the score sheets.
Fly to four airports and then to the terminus for the final 5 th card. You can purchase extra poker score sheets along the way, but you will still need to fly to five airports total during the time period allowed – 09:00 to 14:30.
The game is the same as 5 card poker (no draws, no wild cards)…best hand wins.
Join us for a fun day of flying – benefiting female pilots through the 99 scholarship program.
THIS IS FUN FLYING AT IT’S BEST, SO COME ON AND GIVE IT A GO!
