Are you a student pilot? You are eligible to apply for the Fly Now Award to help pay for your pilots license.
The Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund Trustees are proud to announce that the Fly Now Awards will be worth up to twice as much with the next round of applications. As before, the awards will be based on reaching certain new milestones as the student pilot progresses through her training. This will be a tremendous help to students and will enable them to complete their training more quickly. The financial awards for the milestones are as follows:
Knowledge Test – $500
First Solo – $2500
Long Solo Cross Country – $2000
Earning Certificate – $1000
The applications will be due by March 15, 2016 and the applicant must be a 99s member by February 15, 2016.
