GOLD CUP AIR RALLY 2018

  • by robin
  • February 28, 2018April 4, 2018

We are excited to share the preliminary plans of the GCAR.

We will meet at CYRO (Rockcliffe) late afternoon on Thursday September 13,
2018. The evening will be spent reviewing the flight route.
Ideally, we will depart early morning on Friday September 14th (CYRO) for our
destination CYSU (Summerside, PE).

Saturday September 15th will be the alternate flying day and/or planned
activities. Sunday September 16th will also feature planned activities on the
red dirt province, culminating with the banquet.

On Monday September 17th, for those interested and weather permitting, the
journey will continue to CYGR (Iles de la Madeleine).

Never fear, fuel will be available on our GCAR weekend and there will be no
landing or tie down fees.

Accommodation in Summerside:
A block of rooms at a group rate has been set aside with the Slemon Park Hotel,
walking distance from the runway. Please check out their website.

You may also wish to check out the diverse aviation community via the Slemon
Park Corporation website: http://www.slemonpark.com

Further information and details will be forthcoming with the registration
package before end of May.
