All members of the East Canada Section and friends are invited to another Movie Matinee, on Saturday Feb 23 at the Brampton-Caledon Airport.
We are meeting at 12:30 for lunch, followed by the movie at 1:30 in the 2nd floor Theatre Classroom.
The movie this month is ‘The Legend of Pancho Barnes and the Happy Bottom Riding Club.
Pancho Barnes was one of the most colourful and accomplished female pilots of the early 20th century.
Featuring never-before-seen photographs and film footage and interviews with many of Pancho’s friends – including astronaut Buzz Aldrin and famed test pilots Bob Cardenas, Bob Hoover and Chuck Yeager – the Legend of Pancho Barnes is an unforgettable, exciting and poignant romp through aviation history.
We must give the restaurant notice of how many of us will be attending for lunch. An email was sent to all members, please RSVP if you are planning to attend…do not wait to see what the weather will be like. We must let them know by next Monday our number of seats they should reserve in the restaurant.
