What is a New Track Scholarship? It is meant for a 99s member who was working in a different career, for example, as a flight attendant, working in a bank or an office job, someone who graduated with a degree in a different area of study than aviation, then discovered the true calling of an aviation career.
The New Track Flight Scholarship of $1000 is open to members of the Ninety-Nines Inc., for advanced pilot training, to acquire an Instrument rating, Instructor rating, Multi-engine rating, or a Float endorsement.
Candidate must be aged twenty-one (21) to thirty-four (34) inclusive, who is on a ‘new track’ embarking on an aviation career, e.g., following post-secondary education or starting a second career.
Applicant must have attained a Commercial Pilot License prior to the application deadline and within the previous twelve (12) months.
